Key Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Perform daily maintenance and quality assurance checks on treatment equipment.
• Educate patients and their families to maximize compliance with treatment plans.
• Monitor patients' physical and physiological responses, referring for management when needed.
• Accurately administer radiation therapy and document all procedures.
• Position, immobilize, and align patients according to treatment plans, resolving setup challenges as necessary.
• Maintain treatment logs and records with precise documentation.
• Collaborate with Level II Radiation Therapists to resolve clinical issues.
• Implement quality assurance programs to ensure safe and effective treatment delivery.
• Adapt contingency plans based on workload and schedule variables.

Required Qualifications

• MA RadTech-RadTherapy license and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Graduate of a JCRT-accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Experience with IMRT and IGRT.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate web-based applications.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with MOSAIQ record and verify system.
• Ability to adapt to changing workload and schedules.
