Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, contract, night shifts, requiring availability every other weekend and two holiday shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients in a Level 1 trauma center, including those with accidents or medical emergencies
- Utilize EPIC electronic charting systems for patient assessments, medication administration, and documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care in a state-of-the-art emergency department
- Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols and state licensing requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with patients' families and healthcare teams
- Adhere to hospital policies, including quarantine and separation protocols as specified
Required Qualifications
- Active MA Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Epic electronic medical record experience
- Level 1 trauma center experience is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a busy trauma or high-acuity emergency department
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion
