Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency care to patients with medical emergencies or trauma incidents in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration electronically using EPIC.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
• Assist in managing a state-of-the-art emergency department with private treatment rooms, imaging, pharmacy, and behavioral health suites.
• Respond promptly to urgent medical situations, including accidents and critical illnesses, ensuring immediate and accurate care delivery.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, including BLS, ACLS, and MA licensure.

Required Qualifications
• Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER or trauma experience.
• Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA.
• Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience at a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Excessive time off, especially around holidays, may affect consideration.
• Candidates must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months to be eligible.
• Guaranteed hours of 72 per biweekly pay period, excluding on-call time.
