Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients experiencing medical or traumatic emergencies.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using electronic charting systems, specifically EPIC.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately following all protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Support patient and family needs, including providing clear communication and updates.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards at a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Required Qualifications

• Active MA nursing license.
• Valid BLS/ACLS certification through AHA.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
• Epic electronic health record system experience.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting required.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent experience in a high-volume, trauma, or emergency department setting.
• Familiarity with fast-track and behavioral health units within ER.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in acute care.

Additional Notes
Candidates must be separated from BILH for at least 6 months to be considered (perm, per diem, or contract).
Guaranteed hours are 72 per biweekly pay period, excluding any on-call time.
