Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a busy Level 1 trauma center’s ED.
• Assess and treat patients with medical emergencies, injuries, or accidents.
• Document all patient assessments and interventions using EPIC electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure timely and effective patient care.
• Support families and patients through private and family waiting areas and consultation rooms.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS/ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient emergency room experience.
• Epic EMR system experience is required.
• Lahey Burlington is a Level 1 trauma center, experience in trauma care is required.
• Must have Massachusetts nursing license.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts.

Additional Information

• Candidates must have at least 6 months separated from any BILH affiliation.
• Guaranteed hours of 72 per biweekly pay period, excluding on-call time.
• Lahey Burlington’s ED features advanced imaging, pharmacy, and specialized suites to support comprehensive emergency care.
