Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment
- Assess patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and prioritize care needs
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, including passing arrhythmia and medication tests on the first day
- Document patient information and care plans using electronic health records (EPIC)
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Meet specified staffing ratios, including either one holiday with two on-call shifts or two holidays without on-call
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to pass arrhythmia and medication tests on the first day
- Pending license acceptance (must be obtained prior to start)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with EPIC charting system
- Ability to handle a fast-paced emergency environment efficiently
