Registered Nurse - Infusion

Location: Belleville, IL

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 8-week contract, Days shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer infusion therapies to patients in the infusion center, adhering to established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses during infusions, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Document all procedures accurately in the electronic health record using EPIC.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
• Handle IV therapy and infusion procedures efficiently, maintaining high standards of care.
• Provide excellent patient-focused service, addressing concerns and educating patients on their treatments.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent infusion center experience.
• BLS certification.
• Proficiency in IV therapy and infusion procedures.
• EPIC charting experience is required.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Experience with diverse specialties such as orthopedics, urology, thoracic, and vascular is a plus.
