Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and special procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer treatments, monitor patient vitals, and respond to patient needs during procedures.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
- Float to various units as needed, performing tasks for which competencies have been demonstrated.
- Participate in call rotations, including one night shift per week and every 7th weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina RN license.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience in interventional radiology or related special procedures preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting involving IR procedures.
- Ability to adapt to floating assignments across different units.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
