Key Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures in a hospital setting.
• Maintain sterile environment and assist the surgical team as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and hospital policies.
• Support patient care before, during, and after surgeries.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and functioning properly.
• Document procedures and assist with documentation requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Certification from NBSTSA required.
• Current BLS certification from CSTAHA required.
• At least 1 year of hospital surgical tech experience.
• Ability to work 4x10-hour days on a day shift.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with hospital floating policies and cross-unit support.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong sterile technique.

Additional Notes

• This is a 6-week contract position with a call requirement of 2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule, based on needs.
• Location is 100+ miles from Greenville Memorial Hospital; local candidates within 50-99.9 miles are accepted with a 10% bill rate reduction.
• Shift start date approximately 3 weeks after signing the contract.
• All RTO requests must be included at the time of submission.
• The facility allows for one call-off every two weeks, with floating to other Prisma Health units as needed.
