Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, Full-time, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide bedside care to adult medical-surgical patients in a 20-bed unit.
• Monitor and assess patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols.
• Document patient status and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Read telemetry strips from bedside monitors; report significant findings to the care team.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Illinois RN license or active license in process.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of general medical-surgical experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Active IL license or confirmation of application process.
• Last four digits of SSN and middle initial for submissions.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with telemetry and central station monitoring.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in a similar medical-surgical setting.
