Key Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare patients for imaging, ensuring they follow safety protocols.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow radiation safety standards and organizational guidelines.
- Assist physicians with imaging procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois state license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated.
- Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) via ARRT or equivalent credential.
- Knowledge of radiation safety procedures.
- Ability to operate CT imaging equipment confidently.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working with CT imaging in a hospital setting.
- Familiarity with OSF or similar healthcare environments.
- Good communication skills and patient care orientation.
