Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and document changes effectively.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update care plans.
- Assist with resident assessments and ensure compliance with facility protocols.
- Educate residents and families on health management and treatment plans.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state nursing license (RN).
- Proven experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
- Strong clinical skills with knowledge of geriatric care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in LTC/SNF environments.
- BLS certification.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
- Compassionate approach to patient care.
