Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU setting.
- Assess and monitor infants’ health status, including vital signs and response to treatments.
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, monitoring for side effects.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate families and caregivers about neonatal care, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas or a compact state.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- STABLE certification from a recognized course.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, ideally in a neonatal or perinatal setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in Level 3 or Level 4 NICU.
- Previous experience in maternal-fetal medicine or neonatal intensive care.
