Job Title
• Travel - Rapid Response - CST - CVOR (703) - 6:00AM-4:30PM

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Full-time, 8-week assignment, Days shift

Key Responsibilities
• Provide rapid response care on the CVOR unit at a flagship hospital in Asheville.
• Assist with large-bore IV starts, medication administration, skin assessments, and preparation for procedures such as arterial, central line, and epidural placements.
• Transport patients to the operating room, assist with induction, intubation, positioning, and skin prep.
• Support the surgical team during procedures, ensuring adherence to patient safety and clinical protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner system and ensure compliance with unit policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications
• Valid certification as a CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care and CVOR experience
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity setting
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Proficiency with GE Carescape Monitoring and Cerner documentation system

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with preoperative procedures and intraoperative support
• Familiarity with advanced surgical procedures and equipment technology
• Ability to adapt to changing workflows and quick decision-making in emergency situations
