Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Full-time, Night shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in a transplant/stepdown unit for adult patients.
• Monitor and manage patients with complex medical needs, including post-transplant care.
• Perform wound and drain care, including wound vacs and chest tubes.
• Utilize EMR systems for documentation and patient tracking daily.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of Colorado or relevant multi-state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown/IMC experience.
• Experience caring for patients with Heparin drips, PCA pumps, and post-transplant patients.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying patient census.
• Strong critical thinking and multi-tasking skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in transplant units, especially with solid organ transplants (kidney, liver, pancreas).
• Proficiency with virtual sitter cameras, bladder scanners, and Mobilabs.
• Experience with EMR systems such as Meditech.
