Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to inpatient rehab patients with a variety of diagnoses.
• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans focused on neuro and acute care needs.
• Assist patients in regaining independence through therapeutic interventions in a supportive environment.
• Utilize equipment such as high/low parallel bars, lifts, Nu-Step, and ADL kitchens.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, and case managers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress using electronic medical records (Meditech).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Texas Occupational Therapist license.
• BLS certification.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Neuro therapy experience required; outpatient neuro experience is a plus.
• At least 1 year of relevant therapy experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in neuro and acute care settings.
• Skilled in managing a variety of diagnoses in an inpatient rehab context.
• Ability to work flexibly and motivate patients.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
