• Full-time, 13-16 week contract, Night shift (12-hour shifts), rotating days/nights option available
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients with various cancer diagnoses, including endometrial, bladder, renal, ovarian, and cervical cancers
• Administer chemotherapy, monitor for adverse reactions, and perform specialized procedures such as brachytherapy and CBI
• Execute infection prevention protocols and ensure patient safety with a focus on falls management
• Monitor telemetry readings, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to changes in patient conditions quickly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize rapid response teams when needed
• Perform feeding tube care, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central line maintenance
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic charting system
Required Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of Med Surg/Tele experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing, including dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and brachytherapy preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams and patients
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy certification
• Experience working in oncology units and clinical trials
