Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound testing, including carotid duplex, venous duplex (DVT, reflux/insufficiency, mapping), arterial physiologic and duplex for upper and lower extremities, bypass graft and stent surveillance, and abdominal/visceral assessments.
• Independently conduct diagnostic procedures within a dedicated vascular lab environment, demonstrating strong technical proficiency.
• Communicate effectively with surgeons and advanced practice providers, providing clear and concise reports.
• Utilize digital reporting systems and PACS; experience with electronic medical records such as Epic is preferred.
• Collaborate with clinical teams and precept trainees, including fellows, residents, and APPs, in a hospital setting.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of post-training, full-time experience in a dedicated vascular ultrasound lab (not general ultrasound).
• Current RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) credential.
• BLS certification.
• Demonstrated competency in a full spectrum of vascular testing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal orientation.
• Proficiency with digital reporting systems and PACS.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an IAC-accredited vascular lab or academic hospital setting.
• Epic or similar EMR experience.
• Prior precepting experience in a clinical setting.
