Schedule / Job Type
- Days shift, Full-time, On-call every third week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room
- Assist surgical teams by preparing the operating suite and ensuring sterile techniques are maintained
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and responses during procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and hospital staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Document patient care and surgical details accurately and efficiently
- Respond to on-call situations as scheduled, providing support outside regular hours
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Montana
- Experience or certification in operating room nursing (CNOR certification preferred)
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient safety protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous perioperative nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- BLS/ACLS certification
