Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
- Provide therapy services to patients to improve their functional abilities.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team.
- Support patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensed or eligible.
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
- Good communication and patient care skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
- Familiarity with documentation software and patient record keeping.
