Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit at a well-regarded hospital.
- Monitor and respond to patient needs, including ECG rhythm recognition.
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
- Ensure accurate documentation in patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide high-quality, compassionate care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
- Valid Ohio license or a valid compact state license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and medication safety assessments during orientation.
- Experience with Med Surg/Tele procedures preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting with adult patient care.
- Comfortable with electronic medical record systems such as Lotus.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
