Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment
- Support surgical teams during complex procedures, including robotic surgeries and spinal fusions
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and assist with patient advocacy
- Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff to deliver high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA certification)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of perioperative experience
- Experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic systems and spinal fusion procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in orthopedic, neuro, and robotic-assisted surgeries
- Knowledge of total joint arthroplasty and multi-level spine fusions
- Ability to work well within a team environment and maintain a positive attitude
