Key Responsibilities
- Provide perinatal education to patients and staff within the Family Birthplace department.
- Focus on OR circulating training for cesarean section procedures.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure best practices and patient safety.
- Develop and facilitate educational programs tailored to perinatal care.
- Support staff training and competency in perioperative and obstetric nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in obstetrics or perioperative settings.
- Experience or training related to OR circulating roles and C-section procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver educational content effectively.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in nurse education or training roles.
- Experience working in a labor and delivery or family birth setting.
- Familiarity with hospital policies related to obstetrics and surgical procedures.
