Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit, ensuring adherence to clinical standards.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes with appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to plan and implement patient treatment plans.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols, including managing patients with COVID, Monkey Pox, and other isolations.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and nursing regulations.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Nursys license verification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical setting.
• Current certification in basic life support (BLS).
• Skills checklist completed and uploaded.
• Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Must include demographic information and a badge-appropriate photo.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working with infectious disease isolation precautions.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system.
