Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shifts, inpatient rehab setting

Key Responsibilities
• Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of 50-60 patients in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital
• Perform assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and document progress
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, adaptive equipment use, and pre-discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on safety, injury prevention, and recovery processes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient care
• Participate in activities such as evaluations, evaluations, and discharge planning to support patient outcomes

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an occupational therapist in acute care settings
• Active IL state license at the time of start
• BLS certification
• NBCOT certification

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma center or similar acute care environment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically Cerner
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
