Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment for adult and pediatric patients
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including EKG analysis and treatment
- Perform phlebotomy, starting IVs, and other invasive procedures as needed
- Triage incoming patients and prioritize care based on severity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias; TNCC preferred
- Experience with phlebotomy, IV starts, and patient triage
- Flexibility to float between all Cone Health campuses as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience in emergency settings
- Experience in a combined adult and pediatric ER
- Familiarity with managing a high-volume ER with an average census of 75 patients daily
