Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
- Circulate and assist with Cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
- Care for postpartum patients and well newborns, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Support couplet care by managing both mother and newborn in postpartum settings.
- Monitor and respond to active labor, early labor, and postpartum needs according to patient acuity.
- Collaborate with healthcare team for patient assessments and emergency interventions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Skilled in circulating and assisting with Cesarean sections a plus.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with scrubbing and assisting in Cesarean deliveries.
- Familiarity with antepartum care and postpartum patient management.
- Strong knowledge of obstetric and newborn care best practices.
