Key Responsibilities
• Operate MRI scanners to acquire diagnostic images with precision
• Prepare patients for scans by screening for safety and explaining procedures
• Position patients correctly to ensure optimal imaging quality
• Administer contrast agents and monitor patient well-being throughout the procedure
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure it operates efficiently
• Document procedures accurately and coordinate with healthcare team members

Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of MRI technologist experience
• Certified or licensed as an MRI Technologist (as required locally)
• Ability to assess patient safety and handle contrast administration
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in a hospital or outpatient imaging center
• Knowledge of safety protocols for MRI procedures
• Good communication skills and ability to explain procedures clearly

Additional Information
• No local candidates; candidates must have been separated for at least 6 months to be considered
• Contract guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call hours)
