Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER environment.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering treatments as prescribed.
- Perform emergency procedures and assist with patient stabilization.
- Document patient care accurately using MediTech (expanse system starting in July).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current Virginia RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with GE monitors, Baxter pumps, Zoll travel monitors.
- Proficiency in emergency procedures and advanced ED competencies.
- Familiarity with MediTech or similar documentation systems.
- Experience in a hospital setting with high patient acuity.
