Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: Columbia, SC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 3x12 Night shifts (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.), rotating every other weekend, on-call required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical unit within an acute care hospital
- Float within scope to meet facility needs across similar units or sister facilities
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic charting system
- Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and ensure patient comfort
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays
- Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient treatment plans
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience in a hospital setting
- Active RN license in South Carolina or multi-state/compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with Omnicell pharmacy systems and Baxter IV pumps
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Ability to work flexible schedules and float between units
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Previous experience in a fast-paced hospital environment
