Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including EUS, EBUS, ERCP, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy.
• Assist with pre-procedure preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure efficient clinical workflow.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and care plans accurately in electronic medical records.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and facility policies during all procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid AK RN license (or pending license with strong preference for in-hand license).
• BLS certification is mandatory; ACLS, PALS, and SGNA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in endoscopy or GI procedures.
• Proficiency with procedures such as EUS, EBUS, ERCP, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy.
• Ability to work 4x10-hour days, with on-call responsibilities every 5th weekend.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a magnet, Level II trauma, or acute hospital setting.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Comfortable working within a block schedule and accommodating candidate preferences.

Additional Details

• Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts
• On-call required every 5th weekend, with guaranteed hours of 70 per two weeks.
• No float within scope, travel distance from residence is at least 50 miles, and local candidates are not accepted.
• Parking is free onsite.
• RTO restrictions apply: only one time-off request per 13-week assignment, limited to 5 days or less, no holiday RTO for auto offers.
