Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, 24/7 emergency department setting.
- Assess, prioritize, and treat patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately within the electronic health record system.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations promptly.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
- Valid RN license in South Carolina or multi-state/compact license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCCT certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work 3 days of 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
- Experience managing patient ratios of 6:1 on boards and 4:1 in ED.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in trauma or high-acuity emergency departments.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Flexibility to accommodate a block schedule upon manager approval.
