Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric nursing care to pediatric patients in an acute care hospital setting.
- Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and monitor behavioral health status.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Maintain a safe environment and support patient safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas Registered Nursing (RN) license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of behavioral health RN experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric behavioral health experience preferred but not required for first-timers.
- Ability to work independently and on an on-call basis.
