Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to adult patients, primarily in ICU settings.
- Administer and monitor respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by physicians.
- Assist in the management of ventilated patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
- Float between multiple hospital departments as needed, including Methodist, University, Fishers, and Morgan facilities.
Required Qualifications
- NBRC Registration (RRT)
- Indiana license required
- ACLS and BCLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, with at least 18 months recent ICU experience
- Education from an accredited program through CoARC and CHEA regional accreditation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in ICU and adult critical care settings
- Ability to adapt to floating between multiple facilities
- Prior experience with ventilated patient management
