Key Responsibilities
- Provide licensed nursing care in an outpatient OB/GYN setting, assisting with procedures such as PAP smears, colposcopies, LEEP, D&C, EMB, and IUD insertions and removals
- Perform and assist with Nexplanon insertions and removals, as well as NSTs
- Maintain accurate patient charts using Epic electronic charting system
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout clinical procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team to support patient care needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid California LVN or LPN license
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- IV/Blood Draw Certified
- Flu vaccination (no exemptions or declinations)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in OB/GYN nursing
- Minimum 2 years of overall LVN/LPN experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with outpatient OB/GYN procedures
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
