Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a busy ER environment.
• Float between units as needed based on patient census and skill set.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic charting system.
• Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards.
• Support patients and families through attentive and compassionate care.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of ER nursing experience or new grads with appropriate training.
• Valid RN license in the state of Oregon.
• Ability to work night shifts, including some weekends on a rotating basis.
• Reliable transportation to travel between multiple facility locations.
• Comfortable with floating to different units and facilities as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in short-term acute care hospitals.
• Knowledge of Epic electronic health records.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical settings.

• Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
• Float to various facilities in the region including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent.
• Floating to Seaside may include additional incentives and hotel accommodations.
• No on-call required; some shifts may involve occasional weekend work.
• Total staff beds at facilities: 59; hospital type: Short Term Acute Care.
• Scrubs: Any color; specific areas such as OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child will provide scrubs.
• Parking: No fee.
