Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care and treatment to patients in an acute care hospital setting.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment.
• Document patient care accurately using the hospital's electronic health record system.
• Respond to emergency situations involving respiratory distress.

Required Qualifications

• Valid respiratory therapy license for California.
• Credentialed as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Experience in an acute care hospital preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience with Epic charting system.
• Familiarity with inpatient and ICU respiratory care.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
