Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care for neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients.
• Float between NICU and potentially PICU or pediatric units as needed.
• Deliver patient-centered care following hospital protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and clinical guidelines.
• Assist with patient assessments, treatment plans, and family support.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience.
• Current valid RN license.
• Ability to work night shift schedules.
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal care.
• Ability to float between units as needed.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center or children’s hospital.
• Familiarity with pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certification.
• Experience with float nursing in pediatric or PICU settings.
