Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in accordance with facility protocols and state regulations.
• Assist with patient or resident feeding, repositioning, and toileting as licensed under GNA certification.
• Provide compassionate, personalized care by recognizing individual needs and routines.
• Safely perform duties related to long-term care within household units, including monitoring residents and maintaining safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality resident care and compliance with facility policies.
• Support residents with dementia or cognitive impairments, ensuring safety and proper care management.

Required Qualifications

• Maryland GNA license (Gerontological Nursing Assistant)
• Maryland Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a long-term care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with residents suffering from dementia or cognitive decline
• Ability to float to different units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Strong attention to detail and excellent attendance record
