Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiothoracic ICU patients, focusing on cardiac and vascular conditions.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and manage complex care plans.
• Collaborate with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Handle overflow cases as needed within a mixed ICU environment.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with team members.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a staff CVICU role.
• Valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and CALS certifications.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a mixed ICU setting.
• Ability to handle high-acuity and overflow patient care.
• Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills.
