Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting within a large healthcare facility.
- Monitor and document patient conditions using Epic EMR.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to additional units or campuses as needed, ensuring competency and documentation are maintained.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and standards, especially during peak holiday periods requiring coverage.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of recent experience in a hospital setting with Epic EMR.
- Minimum of one year of MedSurg or Orthopedic nursing experience in a large healthcare environment.
- Strong orthopedic care background.
- Must be able to work 2 of the 3 main holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
- Valid nursing license for South Carolina or appropriate state licensing.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center.
- Demonstrated ability to float between units confidently and competently.
- Strong charting skills with Epic EMR.
