Key Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation during endoscopy and GI procedures.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions promptly.
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure efficient procedural flow.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic medical records.
- Comply with all facility protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience administering conscious sedation.
- Experience in endoscopy or GI units preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an acute care hospital setting.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
