Registered Nurse - NICU

Schedule / Job Type:

Full-time, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float between units, including potential assignments to PICU or pediatric units
• Maintain safe patient ratios, typically 1:2 to 1:4
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards for neonatal care
• Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and family education

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
• Valid RN license
• Ability to float to PICU or pediatric units if needed
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center or children’s hospital
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, pediatric-focused environment
• Ability to adapt to float shifts across related units
