Key Responsibilities
• Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in providing occupational therapy services to patients.
• Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities under supervision.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy.
• Educate patients and families about therapeutic exercises and strategies.
• Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Support the overall operation of the therapy department, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Required Qualifications
• Active certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
• Current state license or registration as required by North Carolina.
• Prior experience or training in occupational therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with documentation software and healthcare protocols.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
