Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel assignment, dayshift (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM), 13-week duration

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures within the operating room, primarily focusing on orthopedic, neuro, and robotic cases.
• Support total joint arthroplasty, spinal fusions, and Xi robotic surgeries including GYN, colorectal, and general cases.
• Prepare and manage surgical equipment, beds, and supplies for various procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.
• Participate in on-call shifts, responding to emergent surgical needs as required.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and maintain compliance with certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Tech (NBSTSA) license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with robotic surgical procedures, especially DaVinci Xi system
• Ability to support orthopedic and neuro surgeries, including total joints and spinal fusions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience assisting in multi-level spine fusions and robotic surgeries
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively in a surgical team
