Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including general radiography and computed tomography (CT) scans on outpatients, inpatients, and emergency patients.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment such as GE 64-slice CT scanners, Carestream X-ray units, and OEC C-Arms.
- Conduct all necessary positioning, procedure preparation, and modality technical factors to ensure high-quality imaging.
- Assist with fluoroscopy exams and support invasive procedures in the CT suite, including use of C-arm in the OR.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and equipment guidelines while ensuring accurate documentation within the EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Medical Radiologic Technologist – General license from the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
- Certified in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Competent in all areas of diagnostic radiography and CT procedures, including patient positioning and technical factors.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to perform fluoroscopy exams.
- Experience using C-arm in surgical or interventional settings.
- Ability to perform invasive procedures in CT.
