Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment, weekends may vary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room environment
• Assist and support surgical teams during a variety of procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes throughout surgeries
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols
• Document patient care and surgical details accurately using hospital documentation systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care before, during, and after procedures

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Kansas or appropriate compact license
• At least 2 years of circulating or scrubbed OR nursing experience
• Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong clinical skills in various surgical specialties (general, orthopedic, vascular, etc.)
• Knowledge of surgical equipment and sterile procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center
• Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar documentation systems
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism
