- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services to adult patients in a hospital setting, including ICU, medical-surgical, and emergency departments
- Operate and manage ventilators such as AVEA and Hamilton C1
- Document patient care and procedures using Meditech electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with safety and certification standards including BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- Support unit coverage based on census and staffing needs during night shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
- Flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with adult patient populations in a hospital environment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
