Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound care to diverse patient populations in a teaching hospital setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and wound assessments accurately using electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and certification requirements.
• Float within scope to support facility needs, including coverage at sister facilities when required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina.
• BLS certification.
• Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) certification (continence certification not required).
• At least 2 years of recent RN experience, with highly preferred experience in pediatric wound care.
• Ability to provide documentation of a radiation badge (agency provided if necessary).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a magnet, teaching, or level trauma hospital.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record systems.

• Radius rule: 60 miles; local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis with a 10% pay reduction.
• All time-off requests (RTO) must be included at submission and approved based on unit needs.
• Guaranteed hours with the possibility of calling off one shift every two weeks.
