Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Day shifts, 36- or 48-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a Level I Trauma Center
• Support patient safety and recovery through accurate assessments, medication administration, and patient education
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Adapt to float responsibilities across units, including ED overflow when needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or large hospital preferred
• Valid and current nursing license in accordance with NLC guidelines
• Experience with team nursing models and float assignments
• Ability to work on-call as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior float nurse experience in Medical Surgical and ED overflow
• Experience working in a short-term acute care setting
• High-level trauma experience is a plus
